Please be patient--I'm working on optimizing the search for responses to a tweet. Until then, clicking "Show Conversation" can be really slow if the tweet is by someone popular.

Welcome. UpaTwee is a new Twitter app that lets you see a whole Twitter conversation, not just one tweet. (Think of conversations in Facebook.)

So if you ever see a tweet from someone else and wonder, "what did people write back?" now you can find out.

It's currently in closed beta. That means you need an invite to create an account. But even without an accont you can type in a tweet URL or ID in the box above. Try it.

Warning: this is brand new and not quite ready for prime-time so there are some kinks I have to work out:

• It's still pretty slow when you look at a conversation that includes someone with a lot of followers.
• It doesn't scale up to lots of users yet.
